Do you know that saying, ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’? Well, so is make-up (that’s my opinion anyway). Now I’m not the type to overdo it when it comes to make-up – a little mascara here, some lipstick there and presto… my features become even more vivid! I recently got my hands on Maybelline’s Spring/Summer 2016 range and here are my fave products to try.

Ladies, it’s time to talk about make-up (and I’m sure no one’s complaining about that). Maybelline’s Spring/Summer 2016 range focuses on four major looks – Make Vivid Happen, Make Drama Happen, Make Vamp Happen and Make Rebel Happen.

Each look is unique and has several products that we love! If you haven’t already tried them, check out my fave products below.

1. Colossal Kajal (Make Drama Happen)

As we all know, the right eyeliner/kajal can really make your eyes pop! Maybelline’s Colossal Kajal is amazing, the colour is rich and intense and better still… no sharpener needed (personally, that makes my life a whole lot easier).

2. The Falsies Push Up Drama (Make Drama Happen)

The brush with this mascara is a dream to use (no thick bristles) and it does pretty much what it says… it makes your lashes dramatic (and beautiful, of course).

3. Master Precise Curvy Liner (Make Vamp Happen)

This liner adds just the right amount of colour to the outer ends of your eyes… and if you’re a fan of the smoky eye (like me!), this is definitely a product to try.

4. Superstay 24H Lipstick (Make Vamp Happen)

Lately, I’m loving the ‘dark lip’ look – and if you know me, it’s not a look I sport often. My favourite shades right now are Caramel Kiss, which is a light brown, and Absolute Plum (a deep maroonish-red). The latter, to me, is something you can wear both during the day (if you’re feeling confident) and for a night out on the town.

5. Master Blush (Make Rebel Happen)

This blush goes on really well and comes in a range of cute shades, including Coral Fever, Cosmopolitan, Rose Madison, Brown and Peach Pop. Personally, I’m a fan of the Brown Master Blush!
